We never see your data — no account, no server.
This policy covers the Windmill: Softball Pitch Chart app ("Windmill") published by Ali3N Studios LLC ("we", "us"). Windmill has no server and no accounts. What you chart is stored on your phone and, if you have backup turned on, in your own Google account's backup. The only information we or our providers receive is purchase information, if you buy the unlock.
1. What Windmill stores, and where
Team names, rosters (including players' names), games, pitch logs and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device. We have no server, so we never receive them.
2. Backup and export
If backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android backs up Windmill's games, rosters and settings to your own Google account and restores them to a new phone. That backup belongs to your Google account and is governed by Google's terms; we cannot access it.
You can also export all of your Windmill data to a file from Settings and store or share it however you choose. An export contains your games, rosters and players' names, so treat the file like any other document with that information in it.
3. What we do not collect
- No analytics and no crash reporting.
- No advertising and no advertising ID.
- No location, contacts, camera or microphone.
- No account and no sign-in.
4. Reports you share
When you share a PDF or text summary, it goes wherever you send it through your phone's share sheet (for example Messages or email), and is then subject to that service and its recipients. We never receive a copy.
5. Purchases
Windmill offers a one-time unlock through Google Play. The purchase is processed by RevenueCat, Inc., our purchase service provider. RevenueCat receives the product, transaction and purchase-token details and an anonymous app-generated identifier, so the purchase can be verified and restored. It does not receive your games, rosters or players' names. Google handles payment; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Google Play's billing library, which Windmill uses to make the purchase, may also send Google its own diagnostic information about the purchase process, under Google's privacy policy.
6. The free-game counter
So that reinstalling doesn't restart the free trial, Google Play services keeps one number on your device: how many free games have been used. It contains nothing else and is not copied to the cloud. Clearing Windmill's storage in Android settings removes it.
7. Children
Windmill is for coaches and is not directed to children. A coach may enter the names of players who are minors. We never receive them; they are stored as described in sections 1 and 2. Coaches are responsible for following their league's and families' expectations about recording players' names.
8. Deleting your data
Delete a game in the app to remove it. Uninstalling Windmill removes its data from your phone; a Google backup, if you have one, is kept by Google until you delete it in your Google account. Purchase records held by Google and RevenueCat are not linked to your name. To ask about them, email us.
9. Changes
If Windmill ever starts collecting anything new, this policy changes first and the app says so. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
